Something to report!!

I got a job!!! Yes, I am finally gainfully employed, but not without the usual drama that weaves itself through my life. So I interviewed on Thursday, and the two ladies with whom I interviewed LOVED me. They did not even discuss with each other if they wanted to hire me, they just hired me! It felt wonderful after all the months of rejection to be hands down hired on the spot. I took my drug test on Friday and was told I could start on Tuesday.

Tuesday morning came, I woke up, got ready, and was excited about starting my new job today. I call the Director and left a message to call back when she was ready for me to come into work. After lunch, I had not heard anything, so I called again.... The Director no longer worked there. She worked there that morning, but not that afternoon. Very strange. So I called my immediate supervisor, she said I still had a job, and that I needed to talk to this other lady. So, now I am waiting for her to call me back. I hope all of this blows over, cause I am itching to be useful again.

The boys are doing fine. I think they are ready to have their own house again. We'll start looking for houses in the next few weeks. You know, so the boys can be happier!!

Nothing to report

Hola!
So, I've been sitting around for a couple of months now.... I went on one job interview, they went in another direction. I guess that direction is away from me.

The boys have been having a good time. They chew raw hides and sleep on their backs everday. I used to envy the dogs, now I share their lifestyle. Makes it real hard to complain about life.

Sonny is learning to jump with his back feet instead of his chest. Most of the time, jumping with your chest is not a hindrance unless he wants to get onto the bed, couch, or in the car. The car is the only approved place for him to jump, but since Welker is an accomplished jumper, he can get anywhere. I think the fact that Welker can go anywhere he wants annoys Sonny. This may be the inspiration behind trying to learn to jump correctly. My theory on this matter is that white men can't jump, Sonny may be out of luck.

When I have more to report, I'll blog again.

Welker's blog status

Today was a good day... laying in the sunshine, sniffing around in the back yard and driving Grandma crazy. We started the day wondering why Sonny was throwing up... turn out he eats too fast. I spent the next part of my day (after my midmorning nap, of course) jumping at the back door. I whined around house for a few hours, and then took Dad to AutoZone. I'll probably finish the day up snoring on the carpet.

Sniff Sniff Horray!

Greetings

Hello all, and welcome to La Vida Legako.... yeah. We are officially Lubbockites again, living with Jerrad's parents. Just to think, we each have two degrees and we mooch from mom and dad.

Jerrad is full swing in his PhD, he'll be a doctorate of Meat Science when all is said and done. Hopefully, he'll be able to support my extravagant life style one of these days. All I need now is to get an extravagant lifestyle.

Sonny and Welker are enjoying their stay at Grandma's house. They play with their aunt Molly all day and eat her food at night. Life is good for the boys.

No news on the job front yet. I'm hoping to hear from one or two places early next week. With any luck I will be gainfully employed in a couple of weeks. Keep me in your prayers if you don't mind.

With nothing to report, I'll just post pictures of my little boys and be on my way!!!
This is Sonny on Christmas Day, he's so big now.

This is Welker right before we left for Texas.... He'll always be Momma's first baby.
